My girlfriend's dog hurt her knee, and needed a ramp to get on and off the bed to prevent her from hurting it worse after surgery by jumping off the bed. I designed one and cut it out on the CNC.

Step 1: Design
The ramp was designed in solidworks. I have attached the DXF I generated for my ramp, but you will likely need a different height/ramp grade for your bed.
Step 2: Cut
Cut out tool paths on router.
Step 3: Trim and Assemble
I cut the ends of the ramp flush with a flush trim router bit.
Step 4: Carpet
I bought a small section of carpet and stapled it to the ramp. This gives the dog something to grip to when climbing up or down. The dog was very happy with the ramp, and now enjoys the freedom to get on and off on her own. She licked my face after I showed it to her :)
