Introduction: Double Sinnet Instant Deploy Paracord Bracelet

This Instructable will show you how to braid a simple, good-looking Paracord bracelet that will become 15 feet of Paracord in seconds. I can't find instructions for this exact bracelet online, but it was inspired by https://www.instructables.com/id/paracord-bracelet-3

Step 1: Supplies

For this bracelet you will need 15 feet of Paracord (about a foot and a half to an inch), scissors, a lighter, a pen and a carabiner (or in this case a snap-close keyring).

Step 2: Prepare the Cord

I used 15 feet and it stays on my wrist without a problem. But I have large hands. So measure and use the appropriate amount of cord (about a foot and a half of cord to every inch of bracelet). Fold the Paracord in half and find the middle.

Step 3: Braid

Always make sure that the looped side of your cord is on the left. If you do not than the end will have to be handled differently. It will make finishing the braid difficult. Don't start right at the middle. Move a couple inches to the left and then start.

Make a circle with the cord. Make a loop with the right side and pull through (review pictures if you dont understand); tighten. Make a loop with the left side and pull through the already existing right loop; tighten. Make a loop with the right side and pull through the left loop; tighten. Repeat: left loop through right loop; tighten. Right loop through left; tighten.

Step 4: Continue

Keep braiding. This part may take between 30 minutes and an hour the first time.

Step 5: Finishing the Braid

Take the left side and pull it all the way through the right loop and tighten. This will lock your braid in place and prevent it from coming undone. Take your pen and push it through the first loop down on the right; this widens the opening so that you can slide the cord from the left side through. Once you have pulled the left side through; push the right side through the loop left by the right side. Cut, burn and tighten. Now push the carabiner (or in this case, key ring) through the top loop and voila! The bracelet is complete. To fasten, just push the carabiner through the loop at the other end of your bracelet.

Step 6: Reverse

To undo the bracelet and have your cord back, just undo the last step; pull the burnt ends out of the loop and pull the loop free of its two loops and pull on both sides.
