Tired of looking for a Korg Monotribe Stand? Look no further! Just follow the instructions and pimp your Monotribes with this cool dual stand!

Step 1: Tools and Material

Tools needed:

• Power or hand drill (I used a 3.3 mm drill bit)

• Sander and/or sand papers of different grits (e.g. 80 to 240)

• Jigsaw or small hand saw

• Screwdriver (I used a powered one!)

Materials needed:

• 60 cm (23.62 in) by 25 cm (9.84 in) by 10 mm (0.39 in) piece of wood for the side panels. I chose plywood (MDF not recommended!)

• 45 cm (17.72 in) by 6.9 cm (2.71 in) by 12 mm (0.47 in) piece of cheap lumber. I chose pine (MDF not recommended!)

• 8 x M4 - 30 mm screws

• Meter stick

• Pencil

• Korg Monotribe Dual Stand Template (provided on this page) printed full size on A3 paper

• Gloves, safety glasses and dusk mask for wood working

• A couple of Monotribes (duh!)

Step 2: Wood Working

Side Panels

Print and cut the template (I chose a 7 degrees angle for the lower Monotribe and a 65 degrees angle for the upper monotribe)

Place the template on top of the wood (you can glue it or use tape to help) and use the pencil to draw the side panels shape.

Drill holes in the center of the four circles in the template (or simply mark with the pencil the points for inserting the screws).

Cut the wood slightly outside the pencil contour.

Sand and wax (I used dark wood varnish)!

Repeat for the second side panel.

Middle support

Measure, draw and cut two 20.6 cm (8.11 in) pieces - making sure both ends are straight!

Cut any of the small rectangles with the two circles from the template. Place it at both ends of each middle support and drill a hole in the center of the circles (this will facilitate the screws insertion and ensure that the middle supports are placed in the right angles)

Sand and wax (I used dark wood varnish)!
