Duct-tape Bracelets

Introduction: Duct-tape Bracelets

These bracelets are a great, stylish edition to your jewellery box! They are easy to make and can be customised with many different colours, jewels etc.

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

You will require:

◘ A pair of Scissors

◘ Some String

◘ A permanent Marker (Any colour/s you choose)

◘ A Ruler

◘ Duct-tape (Do not use super-strength tape)

◘ Jewels (I bought mine from the dollar store)

Step 2: Measure and Cut the Tape

Grab a piece of string and wrap it around your wrist twice. Cut one strip of tape the same length as the string. Do not stick the tape to your skin.

Step 3: Fold in Half

Fold your tape in half so that the sticky sides are stuck to each other.

Step 4: Remove the Bubbles

Make sure you smooth out any air bubbles with a ruler!

Step 5: Bracelet #1

Repeat steps 1-4. For this bracelet I cut the tape in half length-ways so it was half as wide (but can still fit around my wrist). Next I simply cut a strip of jewels and stuck them on the bracelet!

Step 6: Bracelet #2

Repeat steps 1-4. For this bracelet I folded my tape in half and started cutting the pattern shown above.

Step 7: Bracelet #3

Repeat steps 1-4. Fold the tape in half lengthways (like in bracelet #1) and decorate with a gold sharpie!

Step 8: Secure the Bracelet

To secure the bracelet around your wrist; simply stick a small piece of tape on both ends of the bracelet.

Step 9: Enjoy!

Have fun creating these! Comment a picture below if you make them!
