Pen Light Container

About: I am interested in a wide range of things as shown in my list of interests. Almost anything creative is fun and worth trying.

I don't smoke, but I see more and more of my friends are using electronic cigarettes as both a method to quit smoking and also a way to get around the unpleasant odors, ashes, and butts that necessarily come with smoking traditional cigarettes. However, as attitudes have turned against smokers, and even electronic cigarette smokers, many people would like a more discrete way of using e-cigarettes. Here I will show you how to construct a very simple camouflage for your e-cigarette that makes it easy to carry, discrete in appearance, and convenient to use. Hope this helps you quit smoking!

Step 1: Start With a Pen Light

Select a pen light that has AAA batteries in it, these batteries are almost exactly the same diameter as your e-cig. Also be sure that the pen light switch is on the side under the pocket-clip. This is better than lights that have the switch at the end because the hole under the clip will then act as an air hole when the e-cig is in there. Now take the metal inserts out of the pen light, this is the led light on one side and the battery terminal on the other.

Step 2: Insert E-cig

Now simply insert the e-cig into the container so that the light on the cig is at the same end as the light was on the pen light and the mouth piece on the other end.

Step 3: Finished!

Now your "pen e-cig" is finished. You can carry it around clipped to your shirt pocket and no one will be the wiser and you can use it quickly and discretely anywhere you like. Changing e-cigarette cartridges is as easy as changing the batteries of the pen light.
