Introduction: EDIBLE FINGERS

Sugar fingers, beautiful :) cake decoration.

Easy enough and fun for kids too.

Step 1: WHAT YOU NEED

Ingredientes:

-sugar paste (you can also make your own one);

-red beets.

Tools:

-round knife;

-small cup.

Step 2: CUT

Cut the sugar paste in small pieces.

Step 3: ADD THE COLOR

Add a little bit of beet juice. A small quantity is enough, it will give a nice pink.

Mix in your hand until all the color is well blended.

If it become too sticky while doing this, refrigerate for a minute before using again.

Step 4: ROLL AND CUT

Roll in a long tube, than cut in small, finger length, sections.

Step 5: SHAPE

Shape as a finger. Round one one side and leave with the raw cut on the other side.

Squeeza a little the paste under the knuckles suppose to be.

Step 6: FINGERS HOLES

With the edge of the knife push in to the end of the fingers, making a space to place the finger nails.

Step 7: FINGER NAILS

Cut some white sugar paste, a flat long strep. Thank cut it in to rectangular small sections. Shape them as finger nails, and stick them to the end of the fingers.

Step 8: FINAL TOUCH

With the knife make some marks at the end of the finger nails, and some perpendicular marks on the knuckles.

Step 9: BLOOD

Add some blood around the finger nails with the tip of the knife.

Dip the cut part of the fingers in the beet juice, and smear it around a little with your fingers.

Step 10: DONE

Done, ready to use for your Halloween desserts.
