Hello, I've been able to make sketches for ESP32 boards that can connect to the 802.1x network, most likely to meet with the Eudroam, but also in corporations.
It differs from standard PSK networks by requiring a user name (and other key exchange mechanisms, EAPoL frames, etc.) besides the password in the network. Each user has their name (identity) and password, and their combination allows network access.
During connection, ESP32 communicates with the AP, and then the AP communicates with the RADIUS server to enable or disallow access to the board.
Step 1: Code
Sketch is available here: Github
You only need to upload sketch to ESP32 board. Sketch was tested and working under ESP32 Devkit v1 board.
