A new world of these micro computing is arrived and this thing is the ESP8266 NODEMCU . This is the first part that shows how you could install the environment of the esp8266 in your arduino IDE through the getting started video and as the parts increases the complex of this esp module programming will also increase but i will show you how you can do easily all those stuffs which are available.

Add a Teacher Note to share how you incorporated it into your lesson.
Step 1: Watch the Video
Step 2: Things Needed
You need these things to get started with the esp8266 WiFi module
1.Esp8266 module (nodeMCU)
2.USB cable for the connection
3.Serial to USB converter of you don't have inbuilt in the module
6.Arduino IDE environment
7.Working internet connection and you are ready to go to the next step
Step 3: Setting the Preference
For installing the esp8266 boards in the Arduino IDE First you need to download the Arduino IDE from the official page of the arduino .cc
you can download from here: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software
then you need to go to the file -> preferences and paste this link as shown in the video above
after that you need to go to the board manager and install all the boards from the esp8266 as shown above.
Step 4: Installing the Driver
for accessing all the Esp8266 devices you need to install the drivers for the esp8266 modules to work
Download the chip set driver for all the mac ,windows,Linux through the link here.
after downloading the driver package for the system you have just go through the regular installation process and after that you can plug in the module and in the device manager you can see that your module board should be recognizable by the system
Step 5: Downloading the First Code
Now you can see your board is recognizable by the COM and ports so just go to board selector in the tools-board-then select the board type as NODEMCU 1.0 as shown in the video above.
Now go to
file- example- esp8266- Blink
Then click on the upload button and wait for the boot loader to upload the program for you
And that's it you have successfully uploaded the first code code to the WiFi module .
Step 6: Thanks for Watching
