Survival (ear Plug) Necklace for Mom

Let's be honest... most kids are noisy.  They can even be downright annoying at times! Thank goodness they DO grow up and leave the nest.  But, in 20 years you'll have those days when you miss all of that nerve-wracking noise. You may even imagine a time machine... taking you back to the wonderful, innocent, tender years.

OK....... Reality check!!! ;-D

Vacation Travel can be stressful. If it isn't the kids raising a ruckus, it's horn-honkers... and if your flying, it's that kid in aisle 21 that won't be quiet and let you relax.

This problem can be easily solved with a Noise Diffusing Device... most commonly known as Ear Plugs. They can be purchased at Walmart and most drug or sporting goods stores for about $1. 

I converted this simple pair of foam Ear Plugs into a simple necklace with a few  color-coordinated rolled Paper beads and thin strips of metallic tape rolled into beads.

You really don't need much besides your imagination when deciding how to glam up your Ear Plug Necklace. Just purchase the style of Ear Plugs you prefer, keep your beading materials light... and choose a pair of ear plugs that'll match your outfit. ;-D
