Step 1: Ingredients
This is what you need to make 12 cupcakes:
125g Self raising flour
2 tbs Milk
Butter creme (I used an instant mix)
Grated coconut (Not too much)
White and black fondant
Chocolate chip cookies
Blue food coloring
You'll also need a mixer, cupcakewrappers, a cupcaketin, a piping bag and an oven!
Step 2: Let's Make Some Cookie Monsters!
This is how you make them:
Preheat the oven at 170 degrees C(340 degrees F). First make the cupcakes by mixing the butter to a soft texture. Add the sugar and mix for a minute. Now add the eggs and mix again. Next add the flour and milk and mix until you have a light and slightly fluffy batter. Add a little blue food coloring and mix for one more minute. Now you have awesome blue batter! Divide the batter in the cupcake wrappers(in a cupcake tin) and put them in the oven for about 25 minutes.
Make the butter creme according to the package. Add some more food coloring. Blue is fun! Next dissolve some food coloring in a bit of water. Now mix with the grated coconut until it's all blue. Make 12 pairs of eyes from the fondant. Just roll the white into a ball and put a bit of black on it. Cut the chocolate chip cookies in half. You can start decorating when the cupcakes have cooled down. Start with the butter creme. Having a piping bag helps. Just make sure you get a nice round layer of butter creme on the cupcakes. Sprinkle the blue grated coconut on there and just push a cookie in there. Put the eyes on top and you're done! You have just made the coolest cupcakes ever. OMNOMNOMNOMNOM COOKIEEEES!
