Don't have an ice cream machine at home? Well that's not a problem anymore!

This simple recipe makes the most delicious ice cream and you only need 3 ingredients!

The flavour possibilities are endless - from cookies and salted caramel to fruit and vanilla.

Step 1: Get Your Ingredients

For this recipe you are going to need:

500 g of heavy cream

a can of condensed milk - mine was 397 g

1 tsp of vanilla extract

Oreo crumbs

You are also going to use:

A hand mixer

A teaspoon

A spatula

A large bowl

A container to store your ice cream

Step 2: Let's Get Started!

Pour the heavy cream into the large bowl.

Add in the condensed milk.

Beat the mixture - start at a slow speed and then slowly get to a higher one.

Beat until stiff peaks start to form - about 10 minutes.

Step 3: Flavour Your Ice Cream

This is where you can get creative - put whatever you like into your ice cream!

This recipe is for an Oreo ice cream so add a teaspoon of vanilla extract and beat the mixture until the vanilla is evenly distributed.

Pour in as many Oreo crumbs as you would like and gently fold them.

Step 4: Box It

Now that your ice cream is ready all you need to do is put it in a container and freeze it for about 6-12 hours.

My advice however is for you to leave it overnight in the freezer.

To decorate the ice cream I added a little extra cookie crumbs on top.

This recipe makes a little over 1 kg of ice cream.

Step 5: Enjoy Your Frozen Summer Treat!

Once the ice cream is out of the freezer you can enjoy it by adding even more Oreos or not - the choice is yours!
