Easy Orange Candle

This candle is really easy to make. It requires no wax or wick. Once the flame gets going, the candle has a pretty orange glow. It's so easy that anyone could make it.

Step 1: What You Need

Here's what you'll need:

1. orange

2.vegetable or canola oil

3.knife

Step 2: Cut the Orange in Half

With your knife, saw the orange in half as shown in the picture.

Step 3: Removing the Fruit

Very carefully, stick your fingers into the orange half between the fruit and the peel. Do this around all the sides of the orange and pull the orange segments out, being careful not to tear off the foamy white part of the orange (aka candle wick) sticking out in the middle of the peel. If you do, don't worry, because you still have another orange half to work with.

Step 4: Finishing Your Candle

Your orange peel should now look like the above picture. Now pour some oil into the bowl-shaped peel. Let it sit for a minute or two so the oil can soak into the wick. Now you can light and enjoy your candle!
