Introduction: Easy Slime With No Borax and No Glue!
This slime recipe is great for people who do not have glue or borax, and are looking for alternative ways to make slime at a low price! As slime gains popularity, the prices of glue and borax are going to skyrocket. With this recipe, you will not have to worry about paying extra for slime ingredients.
Step 1: Gather Ingredients
This slime is very simple, and only requires three ingredients that can be found in most stores.
You will need:
Peel Off Face Mask (MUST include PVA!) - 1 Packet
Baking Soda - 1 Teaspoon
Warm Water - 1 Cup
There is a good chance that you already have some of these items in your house! It is a good idea to look through your house before purchasing these ingredients.
Step 2: Preparing the Baking Soda Water
Stir one teaspoon of baking soda into a cup of warm (not boiling!) water. Make sure to keep stirring the water until all of the baking soda has dissolved. It is important that the baking soda is fully dissolved to avoid clumps forming in the slime.
Step 3: Combine Ingredients
Carefully squeeze all of the contents of the face mask packet into a small container. Make sure that you get all of the gel out of the packet to avoid waste. Next, slowly stir in the contact lens solution and baking soda water in equal amounts until the mixture begins to stick together and no longer sticks to the container. Once you are happy with the consistency of the slime, you can begin to knead the slime in your hands. If it is still too sticky, you can add more of the contact lens solution and baking soda water. Be careful not to add too much, or the slime will become too hard!
Step 4: Enjoy Your Slime!
Once you are happy with how your slime turned out, feel free to add glitter, dye, sequins, or any other additions to make the slime unique!
