Step 1: Step 1 - Make Cuts and Prep

Follow the printable plans and make all your cuts. Sand down the boards and make pocket holes with a Kreg Jig set to 1½"

Step 2: STEP 2 - Build Frame

Attach a rail to the shortest legs and attach the supports using pocket hole screws.

Similarly, build the middle and back leg frames.

Then, go ahead and attach them all together to make the frame for the tiered planter.

All the joints are made using exterior grade 2 1/2" pocket hole screws.

Step 3: STEP 3- Attach Cedar Planks

Attach cedar planks at on the inside of the frame to make the bottom of the planter and also all around the frame.

I used corner brackets to attach because it also looks good, but exterior grade screws will work too.

Step 4: STEP 5- Attach Lattice Trellis

Attach a lattice to the back of the 2x2 frame using a pin nailer or brad nailer to make a trellis.

Step 5: STEP 6 - Plant Your Favorites!

Make drainage holes in the bottom cedar planks.

Attach landscape fabric to the inside of the planter and plant your favorite herbs, veggies or flowers.
