Step 1: Ingredients

Preparation time: 20 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Ready in: 35 min

Ingredients:

120g flour
80g butter
200g salty grated cheese
2 eggs
70g yogurt
2 table spoons of caraway

Step 2: Preparation

1. Melt the butter, mix it with the flour, caraway powder, grated cheese, 1 beaten egg, yogurt and a pinch of salt in a large bowl. Knead quickly, (add flour if necessary) cover with foil and store in the fridge at least two hours.

2. Take the dough out of the fridge and work it using additional flour until you obtain a non sticky dough, then spread it in a 4-5 mm thick sheet and cut strips 1.5-2 cm wide and 7-8 cm long. Place the strips in a baking tray, brush with egg and sprinkle with some caraway seeds.

Bake in preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius (that's 392 degrees Fahrenheit), for 15 min. After 10 min. of baking, check the sticks and adjust the temperature as needed. After five more minutes you can remove the tray from the oven.

3. The sticks must be removed carefully from the tray because they are fragile when hot.

Step 3: Enjoy!

Eat while warm, as a snack or appetizer.
