Introduction: Eddy Current Brake Experiment

Experiment with a neodymium magnet pendulum. The magnet passes abovevery near a block of wood and a block of aluminum. Because of the eddy currents generated on the aluminum block the movement of the magnet is damped until the magnet is braked.
