About: I am a paper crafter who enjoys a variety of paper crafting activities: collage, mixed media, altered art , decoupage. I like learning new techniques and I like developing new ideas. I create a variety of ...
I created this Edgar Allan Poe bookmark/plant stick from an altered domino and large craft stick. I colored the domino with alcohol ink and then used permanent black ink to stamp on Edgar's face. The stamps used for this piece are:

wings + face - Smeared Ink Quoth the Raven set
             crown - Tim Holtz

The crown and wings were stamped on to design paper. They were laminated to add stability.  The piece is embellished with three golden rhinestones and a scrap of eyelash trim.

I like it. I don't know why it's so hard for me to do things like this. I always appreciate the random work of art - so simple yet compelling

thanks for the compliment...sometimes I just go with what's on my desk top and throw some ideas together. You would be surprised at what you can come up with. There is no right or wrong...just have fun!
