Step 1: Ingredients

To successfully cook an Egg in an Hole, you need the following ingredients: eggs, bread and butter.

Step 2: Cut the Bread

Start by laying the two slices of bread on the cutting board. Next, take the glass and turn it upside down on the bread (as shown in picture). Then push down and twist to separate the bread inside the cup from outside.

Step 3: Place in the Pan

The next step is to place all four pieces of bread in the pan. Put the pan on the stovetop and turn it on medium. Let the bread sit there for a few minutes while the pan gets hot and the bread toasts a little.

Step 4: Flip and Butter

In this step you will flip the pieces of bread in the pan, and then drop a half Tbs of butter in each hole.

Step 5: Crack the Egg

After the butter melts, crack one egg into each hole. Let sit for about 2 minutes, or until the egg whites are almost cooked through.

Step 6: Flip It Again

Once the egg is almost cooked through, take the spatula and carefully flip the Egg in a Hole. Also flip the circular pieces of bread too. Be careful not to break the Yoke.

Step 7: Finish Up

Once you have flipped, let it sit there for about a minute or until you can tell the egg white is fully cooked. After that safely remove from the pan and turn off the stove. Then Enjoy!
