Step 1: Gather Supplies
To make the emergency money hiding place you will need a brand new Altoids tin and tape.
Step 2: Clean Out the Tin
Take out the mints and the wax paper, then set them to the side, you will need them again later.
Step 3: Creating the Bottom to Hide the Money
Fold the wax paper to fit inside the tin from side to side. To keep the wax paper folded tape down the folds, so it will not lose its shape.
Step 4: Placing the Wax Paper in Place
Tape one side of the paper to the side of the tin. The wax paper will serve as the false bottom to hide the money and keep it safe.
Step 5: Now Put the Hiding Place to Good Use
Place the emergency funds underneath the wax paper. Next, fold the wax paper down to hide the money.
Step 6: the Finishing Touch
Last, place the mints back in the tin on top of the wax paper. The mints will weigh the wax paper down to hide your money. Now your emergency hiding place is complete. You may place the tin in your car or anywhere else you may need emergency money in a flash.
