Step 1: Ingredients
- bacon (thinly sliced)
- 1 hard boiled egg
- sun-dried tomatoes
- sliced pickles
- paprika powder
- garlic powder
- cayenne pepper
- lettuce (I used baby leafs with some added rucola)
Step 2: Preparation
Before assembling the sandwich, prepare the sauce. Mix some mayonnaise with paprika, cayenne pepper and garlic powder. I won't provide any quantities, just add to taste. I went a bit crazy with the garlic :-) Cook the bacon and chop up some sun dried tomatoes.
Step 3: Assembling the Sandwich
Next, it's time to assemble the sandwich! Start by slicing the baguette open and putting some sauce on the bottom part. Spread the chopped tomatoes over the sauce and cover with bacon. Slice a hard-boiled egg and put the slices on the bacon, followed by pickle slices.
I shredded some of the lettuce (makes it easier to work with) and put some sauce on the top half of the baguette. Then, put the lettuce on the sauce (makes it stick) and closed the sandwich.
Step 4: Finished!
The finished sandwich. It's sooooo incredibly tasty!
