Step 1: Description
I used Solidworks to design this for the 3D printing contest. It uses the exact same measurements as a .308 Winchester bullet, + or - 0.002mm. This model should be compatible with all 3D printers, but if it is not send me a message and I should be able to convert it to your required file type:)
This design uses a base with an external thread, and a body with an internal thread. The threads are 0.5mm. I decided on this design as I wanted as much internal space as possible, so I used an externally threaded base, which is hollowed out to provide as much internal storage space as possible.
I would love this design to be distributed, so share it with anyone you want. However, I would like to request that you do not claim ownership of this design, edit the design, or use the design for any dangerous purposes. If using this design on a public website please give me some credit:)
Printing will work better if you print the two parts separately, as printer can sometimes get a bit 'confused' when printing an assembly.
