Fall Sweet Blueberry Crisp

Hey guys! I am so excited that fall is upon us and I can finally bake without feeling like to going to melt haha. Don't get me wrong, I love summer and warm months but I love to bake during the cooler months more, so here is my version of a blueberry crisp, a perfect way to kick fall into gear and have the sweet smell of cinnamon fill your house! Follow the step by step instructable to make your very own blueberry crisp!

Step 1: Ingredients & Tools

Ingredients

  • 4 C frozen Blueberries
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 T Cornstarch
  • ¾ C packed Light Brown Sugar
  • ½ C All-purpose Flour
  • 11/2 t ground cinnamon
  • 4 T salted butter (at room temperature, cut into cubes)
  • ¾ C rolled oats

Step 2: The Blueberry Mixture

Start off by preheating your oven to 375. Grease a 1 ½ quart baking dish with butter. In a medium size bowl add in your blueberries, lemon juice and cornstarch, mix till combined.

Step 3: Add to Baking Dish

Next add your blueberry mixture to a baking dish and spread as evenly as you can.

Step 4: The Crumble Mixture

In a medium size bowl add in your light brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, butter and rolled oats and using a fork mix till combined.

Step 5: Spread Over Blueberry Mixture

Sprinkle evenly over the blueberries.

Step 6: Bake

Bake about 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the blueberries are nice and bubbly.

Step 7: Enjoy With Ice Cream

Dig in and enjoy with a heaping scoop or two of your favorite ice cream :)
