Today I'm going to show you how to create the perfect nail design using Ciaté's Feathered Manicure kit.

Step 1: Materials

Ciaté Feathered Manicure kit contents
polish remover
cotton pads
cotton swabs
base coat
nail color (optional, kit does include one)

Step 2: Prepping Your Nails

Make sure your nails are totally clean by removing polish.
Paint a base coat on before starting.

Step 3: Base Color

Either using the given nail color or one of your own, paint one coat of color. Clean the edges and let dry.

Step 4: Placing Feather

One nail at a time, have a feather ready and paint a second coat of color. Place the feather of the nail, "stem" away from the nail, with a small space between the cuticle and the feather. Press the feather gently onto the nail.

Step 5: Trim Feather

Trim the excess feather off, leaving some at the free edge of the nail.

Step 6: Top Coat

Using the given topcoat, paint a coat over the feather. Allow to dry completely.

Step 7: Excess Feather

Using the given blocks, file away the excess feather in a downwards vertical motion, starting in front of the nail and pushing towards the back of the nail.
