Step 1: Ingredients
For this delicious pickled garlic you will need:
- 150 gr garlic
- 100 ml white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp himalayan salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp peper
- 1 tsp thyme
- jar with a lid
Step 2: Preparing
You will need to clean the garlic, and while you are doing that, place the jar into the oven (use some baking tray so the jar is not touching sides of the oven) and turn it on to 100°C to sterilize. Put cleaned garlic in the jar.
Use some kitchen gloves and be very careful, the jar will be very HOT!
Step 3: Boiling Vinegar
Heat up vinegar and spices. Wait until bubbles show up :)
Step 4: Finish
Pour the hot vinegar over the garlic in the jar. Close the jar tightly, wrap it in some thick cloth and let it sit for at least 24 hours. Take the cloth off and you are all done! Keep your jars in some dark place, and wait at least one week before you open it and enjoy the deliciousness of pickled garlic!
