Fillet of Knife

(fillet of knife) 圓角的刀 The knife is 15 1/2 " (39.4 cm) long with a 9 3/4" ( 24.8 cm) blade. It is made from 1/32" ( .07938 cm) hardened steel and the handle is from 3/8" ( .9525 cm) plastic and 1/8" (.3175 cm) steel rivets made from brazing rod.

I managed to get my hand on some green plastic and had some thin hardened steel kicking around and thought I would try a filleting knife. I learned a couple of lessons: 1. that plastic is harder to shape than wood, and 2. that plastic melts at a lower temperature than wood burns.
