PS: The first picture is what it it should look like.

Step 1: THE FISH: Supplies, Tracing, Cutting, Combining

Supplies:
one pair of scissors
how many fishes you are going to make = the number of paperclips
2 colors of construction paper (or paper)
a pencil (or pen)
fish template (find the easiest template you want to cut multiple times)

Tracing:
Get the template of the fish and place it on construction paper (or paper). Get a pencil (or pen) and trace the fish. Repeat this step until you are satisfied on how many fish you want.
*Note: If you do not want the pencil marks remaining use an eraser and erase the marks. That is why pencil is recommended for tracing.

Cutting:
Cut out the fish with your scissors.
*Note: At the end of cutting, I realized I should have used an easier template to cut the fishes with.

Combining:
Put the fish and paperclip together.
*Note:You could put the paperclip anywhere on the fish, but I preferred to have it on the mouth because when you catch a fish you catch it by the mouth most likely and often.

Step 2: THE STRING: Supplies, Gluing

Supplies:
     glue (or super glue)
     string (preferably blue)
     magnet

Gluing:
Glue the string** to the magnet with the glue* (or super glue).
*Note: If you are using regular glue, give it some time to dry because it will not be as supportive and might break of in the middle of the game.
**Note: I decided to use blue lanyard string because it is blue which is the color of the ocean

Step 3: THE CONTAINER: Supplies, Dots, Lines, Cutting, Gluing

Supplies:
pencil (or pen)
fancy scissors
glue (or super glue
ruler
2 containers (like paper plates)

Dots:
Get your ruler and use the pencil (or pen) to make dots one inch apart.
*Note: I used a pen so you could see the picture better. If you use a pen, you will see the pen marks when cutting.
**Note: Do this until finished.

Lines:
Draws the line to connect the dot straight under the dot.
*Note: Use a pencil.
**Note: Do this until finished.

Cutting:
Cut the first line using the fancy scissors.
Cut the second line using the scissors.
Cut the third line using the fancy scissors.
Cut the fourth line using the scissors.
Cut the fifth line using the fancy scissors.
Cut the sixth line using the scissors.
Cut the seventh line using the fancy scissors.
Cut the eighth line using the scissors.
Cut the ninth line using the fancy scissors.
Cut the tenth line using the scissors.
Cut the eleventh line using the fancy scissors.

Do this so that both sides are not fancy.
Glue the strips of blue construction paper to the container using glue (or super glue).
*Note: Do this until finished.
