Introduction: Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location

Five Nights at Freddy's (year 3) for my kiddos costume this coming Halloween. For the past 3 years it's been my kids favorite characters, so this year we decided to give it a go again and this time it's the Sister location. Here are the summarized step by step tutorial of each costume. Most of the materials I used you say could are up-cycled from items I scavenge from around the house or purchased at a consignment store. Make sure you print out a copy of your chosen character for inspiration and reference.

Step 1: FIVE NIGHT'S AT FREDDY'S SISTER LOCATION

Ennard:

Hockey costume mask (Walmart for $.98)

Old white long sleeve shirt

Baseball pant (consignment store $3.50)

Sharpie markers (black, red, orange, blue, purple,)

Dark gray poly rope (dollar tree $1, for fake wirings)

Plastic Eyeballs (dollar tree $1)

Old birthday hat (cut to small size)

Cotton ball

Instruction

The mask part of this costume was made out of Jason hockey mask. I sanded the mask to remove the shiny coating and to make it rougher for the marker to stick on better.

Shirt and pants was hand drawn too using sharpies. Eyeballs were glued with pieces of poly rope using glue gun and stragically hand sewn on to the shirt.

That's pretty much it for Ennards costume.

Circus Baby

Materials

Red dress (consignment store)

Cheap hockey mask

Red yarn

Red wire (purchase at the dollar tree)

Old shoes (painted red)

White stockings (consignment store find $.50)

Belt (old white fabric)

Mask is hand drawn with sharpies. The the red hair was made out of shaped red wire. Then I glue stick it to the mask then loop the yarn around it with the use again of glue gun.

Dress is pretty much how I found it, no alteration, just added the white fabric for the belt that I hand drawn with sharpies again. Stockings are hand drawn as well.

Shoes was an old teal shoes of my daughter. I just painted it with red fabric paint.

Ballora

Materials

Leotard and tutu skirt (purchase at consignment store $9.00)

Hockey mask

Purple wig (Walmart $4)

Pearls (Goodwill)

2 stockings (consignment store $.50)

Purple ribbon

Purple shoes (consignment store)

Purple tulle

Garter

Mask was hand drawn again with sharpies. I found a bag full pieces of pearls at Goodwill and attached it on the mask with glue gun. Made a small bracelet as well to attach on top of the wig like crown for Ballora. I also attached the wig to the mask so it'll be faster and easier to wear it on and off. Any costume you make for a kid needs to be easy (for potty breaks).

Dress, I was lucky enough that I found a matching outfit that almost similar to Ballora's ballerina dress. My consignment sells those ballerina, tap dance, gymnastic, figure skating costumes. I can't believe it myself when I spotted that matching costumes. It has a sequence on the upper chest that I took out. The tutu that came with the costume was just white with blue sequins on the bottom so I made another simple purple tutu to layer it. (You can find lots of tutorial on YouTube to make this) I pretty much sew a garter to my daughters size and just loop the cut out tulle pieces. About 26 inches folded in half and just looped through the garter.

1 Stockings I used it for the arms of Ballora. I just cut a very small round circle hole in the inner thighs for my daughters head to pass through. It's like a long sleeve shirt. Then cut some more holes for her little fingers to go through. Next lined it with black sharpie and field in some places with light purple marker as well. (Note: you have to do this while your child is wearing it. They'll be giggles and laugh. Some of the sharpies might bleed through as well).

The purple shoes again I found at my local consignment store. I was lucky to have found a purple (brand new) Crocs for $7.50! (I love it as she can still wear it for everyday use or next summer) I attached a purple ribbon so it will look like ballerina shoes.

That's it! All three costumes made thriftly! So my advice is if you want to make a unique and inexpensive costume try visiting your local Goodwill or Consignment store first. Your never know what you might find!
