In this instructable i will be giving you step on how to make a plastic skull with flashing LED lights. We were conscripted to make this in my robotics class this year as our first big project of the year.Below you will find the parts and tools you will need for this including optional choices.

Breadboard Jumper Wires x2 (40 for $5 on Amazon.com)
Battery Holder(3 for $5 on Amazon.com)
Halloween Prop(from any Store)

Step 1:

For the Chip you will need a Velleman MK102 Flashing LED kit. Solder all the components together EXCEPT THE BATTERY CLIP AND THE LED we will put those in later.Take two of your Breadboard jumper cables and solder them into the where the LED are supposed to go. Do the same thing with your battery case and put it where the default battery clip is supposed to go.

Step 2:

Before you can put the LEDs in you need to cut a hole in the back of the skull to get your fingers in and connect the lights. For this step you take your dremel with the blade tip and cut a small square about 3 in. by 3 in. and set the piece aside, you will need this to put back in. once you have that you will need a drill and a 1/4 in. drill bit and drill two holes, one in each eye.

Once you drill the holes connect the LEDs to your jumper wires and glue them in. once you get your LEDs in you need to hot glue them into place. You are now done with the LED part of this project now you just need to make it nice-looking this this where you need your piece that you cut out. take your piece and your hot glue gun and glue into place on the back. and move the chip insidse the skull now you are completely done, you just need to set it up how you like.
