Floor Skating in School

Intro: Floor Skating in School

This instructable will show you how to turn your shoes into a pair of floor skates

Step 1: Getting the Materials

Now, I don't know if this is a really old trick, or if there is another instructable about this, but here it goes.
You need the following things:
shoes (of course)

the colored book covers ( you can find them at Target when they are selling stuff for school)

the attention span to read this instructable

BTW, I am not responsible for people skating too much and then slipping

Step 2: Making the Floor Skate

This is the hardest part to understand. First, take the book cover and push the toe of your shoe into one of the pockets. Next, take the other pocket, stretch it, and wrap it around your heel. After that, stretch it even more so it goes along the other side of your shoe. Finally, take the pocket it and put the toe of your shoe into that pocket as well.

Here is a link that demonstrates the instructions:

Step 3: You're Done!

Now do this to your other shoe and start to skate around on the linoleum. It is lots of fun if your school has a linoleum ramp going to another floor. Have fun.

duuuuuuuuude, my teacher, ("Instructor" Eisenhower) caught me tile-surfin down the hall-way!! HILARIOUS, he's got this austrian accent, an he was like, "Vat Ah You doing?!? Dis is a lerning environment, mister eastman. vat do you have to say for yourself?" ah, that was classic.... i still got detention tho.. but its in the cafeteria with no supervision, so we were all skating, racing, stunting, you name it, we prolly did it!

i was going to do an instructable like this but i don't care that you did it. the only thing that i do differently is that i take scissors and cut the book cover down the middle so that i can separate the pockets and put them on both feet.
