Foods of Skyrim: Honey Nut Treat

Introduction: Foods of Skyrim: Honey Nut Treat

About: Maker of all things delicious and geeky.

Protein and fiber for the adventurer on the go. From The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim game. You can't make these in the game so there's no recipe to follow,  I just put together a simple one with honey and nuts!

1 cup Oats (I used quick oats)
1/2 cup Nut Butter (peanut, almond, etc.)
1/2 cut roughly chopped nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts, etc.)
1/2 cup Honey
1 tsp Extract from Vanilla Plant
2 Chicken's Eggs
1/2 cup from Sack of Flour

disposable chop sticks, skewers, or candy apple sticks

Restores 5 health points in game! Read about the honey nut treat at

Step 1: Ingredients

1. Preheat your hearth to 350 degrees F. Mix the oats and nuts together.
2. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix well. Slowly add in the flour to form a sticky dough. Add more flour if it is too difficult to work with. Form the dough into 1 inch balls and place on a baking pan.
3. Bake for about 10-20 minutes until the balls start to brown.

You can make the treats sweeter with more honey or you can add in chocolate chips, coconut, etc. Just make sure the dough is wet enough to form into balls.

Step 2:

1. Before the balls cool completely poke them onto skewers or chopsticks for easy transport. Store the leftovers in an airtight container.

Wow, I am doing a Skyrim birthday party and I am going to be using all your Skyrim recipes, Thank You!!!

This is awesome. LOVE how you kept the Skyrim theme going with the word choices.

Cool idea to use eggs and cook them. I just mixed peanut butter, toasted oats, chopped almonds and chopped peanuts with honey and rolled balls before sticking into the fridge. Your way sounds more formal and probably like what they would do in Skyrim (but hehe I got to eat mine right away and it was still good!). I like this though and might have to try it too! The world needs more Honey Nut Treats (plus they're pretty healthy)!

btw I made this with hazel nuts, came out great. only prob was they didnt stay in balls, more or less turned into normal (although rather thick) cookies. made it a while ago but Ill try to find pics later

I have always been a fan of making "real" items from video games, and I love this idea/series. I'll have to whip these up sometime soon... And I need to play Skyrim again...

Oh, I love the idea of letting the food become real, keep it up!
