Fruit and Soda Watercolor Painting

In this Instructable I will show you how I painted my latest illustration.

MATERIALS USED: Ecoline watercolor inks, white paint, white pens, waterproof fineliners, watecolor paper.

Step 1: INKING

First of all I have inked the drawing using colored waterproof fineliners. After the ink dried, I have started painting with watercolors.

Step 2: BASE COLORS

For base colors I used very light tones and I applied them with wet on wet technique.

Step 3: LAYERING

Once the base colors dried, I started layering with vivid colors to add contrast in the illustration.

Step 4: WHITE REFLECTIONS

When the illustration was completed, I have added light reflections on the glass using white paint and pens. I also defined some details with fineliners.

Step 5: END!
