Introduction: GRANOLA MIX - Healthy Homemade Gift Idea
Receiving gift is awesome, same it goes when we are giving. Gift can come in many forms, expensive or cheap, big or small, wrap or unwrapped, etc. The best it could be, quick and simple to make. Healthy granola mix in a glass is one of the best homemade food gift for the holiday!
Granola (格兰诺拉麦片; 早餐营养食品) is filled with nutrients, fiber and natural sugar that will give us a healthy energy boost throughout the day anywhere as it is very handy. It can be taken in many ways, it is perfect sprinkled over fresh salads, as a healthy snack in the middle of the day or as trail mix while hiking.
The granola can last for many weeks if stored in an air-tight container. This simple gift is affordable and yet could be the most sincere gift for the one you care for their health. :)

Step 1: Ingredients
3 cups rolled oats.
1.5 cups nuts and seeds of your choice (almonds, hazelnut, pecans, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, cashew, flaxseeds etc).
0.5 cups dried berries mix and raisins.
0.5 cups freshly squeezed apple juice.
0.5 cups maple syrup (or raw honey).
0.25 cups vegetable oil.
1 vanilla bean or 1 tbsp vanilla extract.
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon.
1 tsp fine sea salt.
0.25 cups dark brown sugar.
0.75 cups shredded sweet coconut.
1/4 tsp ground cloves.
Step 2: Preheat Oven.
Preheat the oven in 325° F or 160°C.
Step 3: Combine Nuts and Seeds.
Combine the oats with the nuts and seeds (except ground flaxseed and berries)in tray.
Step 4: Prepare Mixture.
a. Combine the vegetable oil, apple juice, maple syrup, spices and vanilla in a small sauce pan.
b. Warm the mixture until everything is well combined over a very low heat.
Step 5: Pour Mixture Evently.
a. Remove the mixture from heat.
b. Pour it over the oats and nuts.
c. Stir until thoroughly mix.
Step 6: Bake Granola.
a. Bake for total 30-40 minutes.
b. Stirring every 12 minutes (to make sure they browns evenly).
Step 7: Add Remain Ingredients.
a. Add the ground flaxseeds after 20-25 minutes.
b. Remove them from oven when they are even golden brown.
c. Add rains and dried berries. Mix until evenly distributed.
Step 8: Remove From Oven.
Let the granola cool completely.
Step 9: Done! Perfect Lovely Gift.
Ready to be bottled. :)
Step 10: Note.
a. Please spread the oats and nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
b. You may need to bake them in few batches depending on the size if your oven.
c. To spread out the granola evenly, make sure there is plently of space on the sheet.
d. To keep the granola crunchy, you must prevent too much being piled on the baking sheet.
