Introduction: Garlic Shrimp Scampi

About: I have been sewing and crafting for several years, my children are grown so now I have lots of time to be creative. I enjoy photography, cooking, cake decorating, painting and sharing my projects with others.

If you love garlic like I do, you'll want to make this tasty dish!

This delicious shrimp is so easy to make!

It tastes just like the shrimp scampi you can get at Red Lobster.

Using frozen shrimp and minced garlic makes it easy to keep the ingredients on hand.

Step 1: Ingredients

2 dozen Frozen extra-large raw Shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on.

3 tablespoons Olive Oil

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1 tablespoon minced Garlic

Step 2: Coat the Shrimp

Thaw out the frozen shrimp in a bowl of lukewarm water for 15- 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Melt the butter, mix with olive oil and garlic. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.

Drain the shrimp and pat dry with paper towels.

Pour garlic mixture over shrimp, stir to coat evenly.

Allow to marinate while the oven is pre-heating.

Step 3: Bake

Arrange the shrimp in a casserole dish or pie pan.

Pour remaining sauce over shrimp.

Place dish in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven and serve with pasta and vegetables.

Enjoy!
