Introduction: Toolbox

I have tools (to repair computers) spread through my room. I never can find any of them when I need them. So I wanted to make a toolbox to keep them in one place.

Step 1: Design Your Box

Find your biggest tool and the powerbank you want to put in yout toolbox. Take the messurements. Go to makercase. Fill in the form and download the design.

I edited it(using Adobe Illustrator) because I wanted a ticker top so I can mount the light in the top

Step 2: Grab Your Materials and Tools

Materials

The most of the materials are from as website called Aliexpress

  • Wood
  • Powerbank
  • usb extensions
  • 2 usb led lamps
  • switch
  • joint
  • lock

Tools

  • 3D printer
  • Lasercutter
  • Hot glue gun
  • Wood glue
  • screwdriver

Step 3: Laser Cutting

After getting the wood it's time to use the laser cutter

The picture is not mine because I forgot to take one.

Step 4: Assemble the Box

After gluing everything together, you end up with a nice box

Step 5: 3D Printing

After failing the first 3d print (the white one). I went to 3dhub.com to print it for me.

Step 6: Finish

After finishing the tool box, I'm very happy with it. I still want a handle on the top of the box but I still haven't found one.
