There's something amazing about glitter but i'd rather use it in a more discrete way. For me that's the difference between trying too hard to stand out and doing it in a more natural and elegant way. Today i'm going to show you how to make a gradient effect in your nails using a glitter nail polish.

Step 1: Just Two Nails Polishes

Color of your choice
Glitter nail polish

Step 2: Base Color

Start by putting two layers of your base color in all your nails. Wait for it to dry completely.

Step 3: First Layer of Glitter

Divide your nails in 4 parts drawing 3 imaginary lines. Put the first layer of the glitter nail polish above the third line (covering 3/4 of the nail).

Step 4: Second Layer

Put a second layer of the glitter nail polish above the second line covering half of the nail.

Step 5: Third and Fourth Layer

Put two layers of the glitter nail polish above the first line covering 1/4 of the nail. Let them dry completely.

Step 6: Ombre Effect

This will make a glitter ombre effect in your nails that will look beautiful! Try out different combinations of nail polish duos according to your outfit and your mood and.. Shine on!
