Introduction: Glove-R

One of the problems that generates more controversy in Peru is citizen insecurity. Very few of the country's citizens have personal protection or security systems or devices. Therefore, this project with the name of Glove-r is effective for personal defense due to its slight discharge that paralyzes the aggressor.

Step 1: What Is Needed

1. Some basic tools such as pliers, leather punch, scissors, tin soldering iron, wire strippers, insulating tape, rivet tool, tin and copper wire.

2. Taser

We found one in "Mercadolibre" for S /. 40 and it is 5000kv. This is the best price we could find and that works better with the whole process.

3. A couple of gloves

One must be fine material and the other sporty

Step 2: Rivet Holes

Just think about where you want the rivets and how many of them are you going to use (we put three on each finger because we think that if we put more, each one would have less electricity).

First you must measure the rivets and make a hole so that it can pass and be adjusted by the other side, our leather punch came to pierce the glove without problems (Using the tool that is in the image)

Step 3: Adjust the Rivets and Connections

Now the riveter should be used to hook the rivets, but before doing so, close it with the copper wire and then secure it, and use the same copper wire for the entire row on the fingers.

For greater safety, we weld a little tin over the already hooked rivets, in order to secure the copper wire and prevent it from falling.

It is important to know that the cables must be interspersed, first positive - negative and then vice versa, until the end; there must be 3 of each and 2 of the opposite.

Step 4: Isolate the Interior of the Glove

Now the glove must be well insulated with the insulating tape, we choose to use 2 layers of tape on each finger (as a precaution).

Step 5: Connect the Cables to the Taser

We choose to disarm the Taser (to reduce space), but the process is the same in both situations, we group the cables into groups and then connect them to the Taser with insulating tape.

Step 6: Finish Up

Note: We thought it would be good to have the switch to turn the glove on the wrist (image 1), we just made a small hole in the desired place and with the copper wire we made it longer

Note: We also think that the switch that activates electricity must go in the palm to be activated by contact (image 2)
