With this instructable I'll show you how the make your longboard/skateboard wheels glow in the dark it's really awesome liking and fun. **Glow in the dark longboard wheels are sold online for fifty to seventy dollars depending on the quality. To make it yourself is about ten dollars.

Step 1: Cleaning

First unscrew the nuts and take off the wheels and pull out the bearings. Make sure it's only the plastic part of the wheel is left. I used a rag and magic eraser with water to clean them. Make sure they are very very clean!

Step 2: Preparing for Paint

Put paper inside the middle of the wheels. Dust them off one final time and lay out some paper on the ground OUTSIDE and put them on it. I bought some glow in the dark spray paint from Home Depot for about ten dollars. Put five or six coats and let it dry overnight. Put the bearing back in and put the wheels back on. Leave in the sun for the day and have fun!!

Step 3:

The bright one is painted on pic one. This is for the weekend contest and the I could build that contest so plz vote. Thanks!

Does the glow-in-dark paint change the color of the wheel when they're not glowing?
