Gone to the Dogs

A friend asked me to make her son a special buddy.  He is a huge fan of the dachshund.  I didn't want to do a solid colored plushie- I wanted to show the 2 tone shading that some dachshunds have.  So I tried some techiniques in this piece to get the look I was going for.

I am a self taught crocheter and love the new skills I have been able to put under my belt!
