Halloween Skele-tee

About: Hi everyone! I'm a hardcore DIY'er, I've published 11 DIY books, just produced my own TV show called Make Your Mark for PBS/APT, I make YouTube videos every week and I'm buried under a mountain of craft sup...

Intro: Halloween Skele-tee

Make a skele-tee with this simple freezer paper method!

Step 1: Watch the Short Video Tutorial Here!

Step 2: Stuff You'll Need

Iron

Freezer Paper

Americana Multi-Surface Satin in White

Allure Dimensional Design Adhesive Paint

Black tee

Paintbrushes

Craft knife

Scissors

Skeleton template

Cardboard

Step 3: Here's How

Print out the skeleton template as large as you can

Fold a large piece of freezer paper in half and draw the design on the fold

Carefully cut it out with scissors and a craft knife Iron the shiny side of the freezer paper to the front of the tee

Create bones for the arms, too!

Put a large piece of cardboard in the tee so the paint doesn't bleed to the back

*Also do this in the sleeves

Paint two coats of the Americana Multi-Surface Satin paint

When dry, remove the stencil and fill in with Allure Dimensional Design Adhesive Paint in Silver Glitter

Step 4: Skeleton Template

Print as large as you can and use as a template

A few quick questions, but 1st, I love how easy and splendidly *mildy* morbid this instructable is! Might need to gore mine up with some blood lol! I will post pics!

Okay, question 1:Regarding "Paint two coats of the Americana Multi-Surface Satin paint", can this be substituted for fabric or acrylic paints? Might also try bleach for a post apocalyptic feel.....

Question 2: Regarding "dry, remove the stencil and fill in with Allure Dimensional Design Adhesive Paint in Silver Glitter"...necessary? Or for added *POP*!?

And I'm broke as a joke (hence the "shortcut Q&A!) & dont have an iorn.....is that just for sake of a flattest surface possible?

Thank you for your instructable, your easy instructions and for keeping Halloween alive year round! Its not a holiday, its a way of LIFE!!! :)
