Introduction: Hanging Light Bulb Vases

What You Need: 5 light bulbs, screw driver, gardening wire, knife, hot glue gun, and real or fake flowers.

Step 1: Opening the Light Bulb

For this step I took the knife, poked a hole through the base of the light bulb and cut around until the top part was off.

Step 2: Emptying the Light Bulb

Now that the top part is off, get your screw driver and break through the glass that was under the base. Once you do this remove the filament, wires and stem.

Step 3: Hanging the Light Bulb

To get the wire through the light bulb poke a small hole on the base with your knife and use the wire to make a knot. Evenly space out each bulb and continue to tie each bulb until you don't have any left.

Step 4: Flowers

Cut the flowers at a length that will fit your light bulb just right. After this, take the combinations of flowers you want in each bulb and use your hot glue gun to glue the stems so they stay the way you positioned them.

Step 5: Placing the Flowers

If you are using fake flowers place the flowers in each light bulb. If you are using real flowers fill the bulb with water and then place the flowers. If you are using fake flowers but want to create the illusion that they are real you can also add water.

Step 6: Hang Your Light Bulb Vases

Now that you are done the last thing to do is to find a place where you think it'd make a pretty decoration. If you don't know where, you can always take two nails and place it somewhere plain and boring to jazz it up.
