Today I got a healthy treat lined up. An açaí bowl with plenty of fresh fruit and granola! I used the Sambazon brand açaí smoothie packs for this recipe but it works out perfectly. This dish can come together in under 5 minutes and is packed with healthy nutrients. Follow the step by step guide below or watch the video here:
Step 1: Ingredients
- Acai Packs (I bought mine from Costco)
- 1 Mango
- Sliced Banana
- 2 T Granola
- Coconut Flakes
I don't list the amount of each ingredient because it is entirely customizable to your taste and preference. While you prepare and cut the ingredients, make sure the açaí packs are defrosted.
Step 2: Slice the Mango Into Cubes
Begin by slicing the mango into small edible cubes, there are a few methods as to how to do this, I use a knife to cut the cubes while the skin is still on the mango, then push it inside-out and cut the cubes from the bottom.
Step 3: Chop Strawberries and Bananas.
Once again, you can cut these to any size or shape you prefer. Just make sure they are bite size!
Step 4: Pour Acai Packs and Begin Plating
Arrange your blueberries, sliced strawberries, banana and mango in any arrangement you prefer for a nice presentation. Add in your granola and sprinkle in your coconut flakes.
