Introduction: Install Android 4.4 on Galaxy Nexus Maguro (CM11)

How to install Android 4.4 (CM11) on Galaxy Nexus (maguro) (I am not responsible if you brick your device in the process)

Step 1: Download All of These

Nexus Root Toolkit (nrt)- http://goo.gl/b6cPHw

CM11 for maguro- http://goo.im/devs/playfulgod/ROMs/samsung/maguro/... (DO NOT UNZIP)

Galaxy Nexus ADB Driver - http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/S... (Go to Support > Downloads > Click on EXE and click Yes)




Step 2: Set Up Nexus Root Toolkit/ADB Driver

1. Install it

2.Choose your device

3. Download all other files needed (Automatic)

4. Install Galaxy Nexus ADB Driver


Step 3: ADB

1. Enable ADB on your device (About Phone > Build Number (Tap 7 times))

2. Developer Options > Enable ADB

Step 4: Backup (NRT)

1. Backup > Full Backup

2. It will tell you the rest of the steps

Step 5: Unlock Bootloader

1. Unlock Bootloader (THIS WILL WIPE ALL YOUR DATA, MAKE SURE BACKUP IS MADE)

Step 6: You Now Have a Clean Slate of Android

Launch Advanced Utilities

Flash Zip > OK > Choose Zip in downloads folder (CM11)

Wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache

No Nanodroid Backup

Confirm Operation

Step 7: After .Zip Installation

1. Restore Backup

Step 8: EXTRA- ROOT

1. Click Root (1 Click Installation)
