This recipe is our version of Middle Eastern coconut date rolls. All you need to whip up this fantastic bite-sized dessert are a few simple ingredients and a food processor or blender. The perfect healthy treat to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Step 1: What You Need
Shredded Coconut (or make your own from fresh coconut)
Cinnamon (optional to taste)
Step 2: Preparation
Soften the dates by pouring hot water into a bowl with dates and set it aside for 15 minutes. Once the dates are dry, drain most of the water but leave a little behind.
Dump the soaked dates (with the extra water), a tablespoon of hemp hears and cinnamon to taste into a food processor or a blender if you don't have a food processor.
Blend everything into a paste-like consistency. If it's too runny then add more dates. If it's too thick, add more water.
Dump all the contents onto a board, shape into balls or rolls and cover them with shredded coconut.
