Introduction: Hexapod Robot With Ruler Body Parts

This is my first project in instructable . This robot is "HEXAPOD" I made this robot by inspring form different engineering youtube channels and blogs.This Hexapod is successfully made after my four prototype

replacing and eliminating lost of technical problems that came during programing and making suitable body parts .

MATERIALS USED IN HEXAPOD:

1. 30 CM RULER * 4

2. Arduino uno * 1

3. Bluetooth module HC-05 * 1

4. Jumperwire

(male to male 10 pice)

(male to female 5 pice)

(female to female 5 pice)

5. zero board (5*5)cm

6. servo motor sg9

7. powerbank as a power source

FIRST IN THIS PROJECT I HAVE TRIED HEAVY WEIGHT RULER BUT DUE TO HIGH WEIGHT I CHANGE IT WITH 30 CM RULER

THE BODY PART CONSIST OF 6 LEGS WITH 6 LIMBS

IN UPPER BODY PART 16 CM RULER IS PLACED IN PARALLEL AND ATTACH HORIZONTALLY WITH 2 ,9CM RULER

FOR THE LEG I CUT THE RULER OF 10 CM LONG WHICH HAS SAPE UPPER PART BIG AND COMMING DOWN THIN.

AS WE HAVE 18 SERVO MOTOR ,WE NEED 18 OUTPUT PIN IN ARDUINO DUE TO NOT AVAIABLE OF 18 DIGITAL PIN I CAME TO A SOLUTION OF MAKING COMMON SERVOS OF LEGS. AS

Step 2: WIRING AND CONNECTION

IN HEXAPOD SERVO 2&3 ARE COMMON IN WIRING, SIMILSRLY

AS I HAVE PUT SERVOS IN CONNECTON COMMON THEY GET SIGNAL AT SIMILAR TIMES

FOR THE MOVEMENT OF THE HEXAPOD THE LEGS MOVES IN THE TRINGULAR FORM

FIRST LEG1,LEG5, AND LEG3

GO UP IN AIR THEN TTHE SERVO 1 AND 7 MOVES IN 105 DEGREE AND WHILE SERVO 13 MOVES TO 75 DEGREE THEN THESE LEG GOES IN INITIAL POSITION TO DEFULT 90 DEGREE.

SIMILARLY OTHER 3 LEGS GET UPWARD

LEG 6,2,4 THEN SERVO 16 &10 MOVES TO 75 DEGREE WHILE SERVO 4 MOVES TO 105 DEGREE FOR THE FORWARD MOVEMENT .

THIS HEXAPOD IS CONTROLLED THROUGH ANDROID APPS AND ANDROID MOBILES .THROUGH THE MIT LAB I HAVE DEVELOP MY OWN APPS TO CONTROL AS I WANT AND REQUIRE FOR HARDWARE. .

Step 3: ARDUINO PROGRAM AND MOBILE APK

THE ARDUINO PROGRAM AND THE ANDROID APPS OF THIS ROBOT ARE SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND AND USE .
