Hidden Money Box

About: hello guys, my name is Bhaswar and i am 16 years old.i love to make projects with the arduino. I'm experimenting the ability of my hands....

Hello my dear friends! In today's Instructables, I've made a Hidden Money Box. This is a very simple project that you can make almost anywhere you are. I got this idea after I lost my wallet where I used to save up all my money. So now I thought of saving my money in a hidden place, where no one will get the slightest clue that there's going to be money in it. It took me only half an hour to make.

If you guys have any question, then please feel free to ask me in the comment below.

If you like my project then please don't forget to vote for me in this contest.

Step 1: The Components Needed to Make This Project

To make this simple project, you really don't need anything, but are the components I've used to make this project.

1) Hammer

2) Pointed Tip Screw Driver ( for making holes on the geometry box)

3) Cutter

4) Geometry Box

5) Coins

Yep, that's all you need :-)

Step 2: Marking Where to Cut & Cutting

First of all you need to mark out a place on your geometry box where you want to cut. So as I wanted to insert coins, I made a thin long rectangular drawing.

After finishing the rectangle, gently make holes around the marked rectangle. Then with your cutter start cutting from holes to holes the thin metal sheet of the geometry box.

It's very easy, just be careful of not hurting your fingers.

Step 3: Finishing the Cutting

Once you've finished cutting the rectangular shape, take out gently the rectangular metal piece as it will be very sharp at the borders. It will look like in the picture. If you want to, you can make the hole smoother with a sandpaper.

Step 4: Decorating the Box

You can decorate as you like inside the box. I got this thought (drawing inside the box). Don't color or decorate the outside of the box. Let it be as it is because if you decorate the outside of the box then people might get suspicious of something being inside the box.

Step 5: Time to Insert Coins Into Your New Hidden Money Box!

Now you are ready to insert coins into your new money box. Here's a tip: don't tell anyone about your hidden money box. You can keep it nearly anywhere you like because I'm sure no one has much interest opening a geometry box checking what's inside it.

If you liked my idea, than please don't forget to vote for me :-)

See you in my next Instructables!!!!!!!

It would be easier to just open the case than to punch a hole in it. Sorry, but this is just a coin bank.
