Hideaway Compartment Picture Frame

Introduction: Hideaway Compartment Picture Frame

I used scrap cherry wood from my wood working class to make this picture frame. The measurements I used for this was the outside of the frame is a 7x7. The inside square is 4x4 and it is 2.5" thick. The top of it is the part that pulls up and shows the hidden compartment. I stained it to give it more of a red tint. I decided to use my school mascot as the picture in the center and a machine etched it out. The intention for the hidden compartment is to hide possible money and maybe even my favorite candy bar so no one can find it.
