Introduction: Homemade Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey

About: I’m a mama of three and breast milk donor just trying to survive the chaos with coffee, fitness and wine!

Homemade Fireball cinnamon whiskey is an awesome DIY project. I especially love drinking Fireball during the holidays or for social gatherings and parties.

This recipe uses only natural ingredients, no corn syrup, dyes or additives. This is an updated recipe, as I have found that waiting 5 days for it to infuse is really just too long, especially if you are in a time crunch. This recipe only takes 2 hours!!! If you have a party to host or attend in a matter of hours, you can whip up this recipe in no time at all! The trick is using my newest favorite kitchen gadget, the VitaClay, which is an organic non-toxic multi-cooker that can cook slow or fast while preserving the flavors. (Use my code ALLNATURALANDGOOD10 for 10% off!) Using the VitaClay not only saves you time, but there is less mess and kitchen tools to use and clean.

Homemade Fireball cinnamon whiskey is so good! Not to mention, it is also so much cheaper than buying regular Fireball. I love the rich, natural cinnamon flavor of homemade Fireball! The best thing about this recipe is that it uses mostly organic ingredients, so you don’t have to feel so guilty for enjoying it!

What you need:

1. VitaClay organic cooker (Get 10% off your VitaClay with code ALLNATURALANDGOOD10)

12. bottle of whiskey (1.75L) – I used inexpensive blended Canadian whiskey

3. 8-10 Organic Cinnamon Sticks

4. 1 cup Organic Cane Sugar

5. 1 cup water

6. Cheese Cloth

7. Kitchen Twine

Directions:

1. Create a large bag (like a tea bag) using the cheese cloth. Make it large enough to fit the cinnamon sticks inside.

2. Close up the cheese cloth bag tightly and tie it with kitchen twine. Make sure it is tight and tied multiple times so that debris does not escape the bag. If this happen, that is ok, you can strain your cinnamon whiskey at the end.

3. Add the cinnamon stick bag to your VitaClay.

4. Add the entire bottle of whiskey, the sugar and water.

5. Cook on slow for 2 hours. If your cinnamon whiskey has visible debris, you can strain it through the cheese cloth before bottling.

6. Allow your cinnamon whiskey to cool then bottle it in a Half Gallon Size Ball Mason Jar.
