This is an older video and one I plan on re-filming very soon. This is how I make my pizza sauce!!
In medium sauce pan heat 2T Butter and 2 T Olive Oil on medium heat. When oil is hot add 1 minced Shallot, 4 Cloves Garlic, and cook until soft. After Shallots and Garlic are soft add 1 T. dried Italian Seasoning and let cook for a minute to infuse the oil. Next add 1 16oz. can Crushed Tomatoes and 1 8oz can Tomato Sauce. You can add salt and pepper to taste. I also added a pinch of sugar to take away the tartness of the tomato. Let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes then it's ready to put on your pizza or even spaghetti!!
