HOW TO TIE A HONDA KNOT

Step 1: Step 1: Loose Overhand

Tie an overhand knot at the end of a rope. Keep it loose.

Step 2: Step 2: Small Overhand

Tie a small overhand knot at the very end of your rope. This way, it won't slip through later.

Step 3: Step 3: Through the Large Overhand

Bring the end of the rope up through one side of the overhand knot, keeping it loose.

Step 4: Step 4: Tighten the Large Overhand

Pull the large overhand knot tight, leaving the slack from the end of the rope to create a circle.

Step 5: Step 5: Lasso

Pull the other end of the rope through the circle to create a lasso.
