Introduction: Hose Rack From Bicycle Frame

When I needed a hose rack and i also had a broken bicycle beyond repair, this is what i made.

A Hose rack with a wider mouth prevents the hose from kinking because the force is not concentrated at a single spot on a single hook.

This was made from the rear section of a 26" bicycle. The frame was cut in two places, below the seat and at the foot crank. Also the wall side crank with pedal was also cut off with an angle grinder.

The frame was widened by placing a car scissor tire jack where the wheel would be then opening the jack till you have the desired opening.

The frame is held with a rope through the axle holder on one side but a bolt could have also been used if on a wall.
